    Bug Bag Air beam

Spotted this pre assembled front beam for a VW Bug with the bag setup already installed. Anyone got any reviews of it?

I read on Vortex that since the steering box is placed at either end of the beam depending if it's a LHD or a RHD. There's only space for on bag at the other end, or you must build to rack and pinion steering to have two.

Here's some photos from KCW (KustomCoachWerks).

Also found the front Air Ride Kit at Air Kewled.com. For $1000 you can have all the equipment needed to ride on frame in your bug.

The bag setups for Bugs look like water bottles lol

those are just air shocks. i guess with the bugs you can get away with that.

but those look EXACTLY like the air shocks on the back of my buddy's el camino from high school.

www.punchdrunkcustoms.com - Best aircooled beams I have seen yet, made from scratch bolt in air ride beam and also affordable (considering the other options that is).

I'm' new here, so I may be in the wrong forum location. I'm looking for information on air tank locations for air cooled beetle's. Some have them under the rear seat, drivers side, but am looking for the best locations and why you chose those particular locations. Pics would be great. Thanks..............

I would think under the rear seat driver's side would be best for not taking up any usable space in the vehicle as it's a dead spot that really isn't used for anything. For showing it off I would mount it under the hood up near the back of the dashboard, suspended above the gas tank.
