Mk6 Gti is in the bag..

Hi guys new to this forum and the air ride community. I have a MK6 GTI and it needs MOAR low! Lol here is how it stands now

My only concern is since I am stage 2 will this suspension make all my previous investments obsolete?

    Thanks guys!

No modification to a car is ever really an "investment". No, it will not make your power upgrades obsolete. I have been Stage 2 on bags for years, and I enjoy the performance no less. There are some really big HP guys on air ride.

it will be OK ... if your into performace and want something that performs well on the track. AIRREX is a track proven Air Suspension

They have been actively racing there mini cooper in the taiwan race curcuit for years and have even place in the top 3 with there air suspension systems.

Other companies will just show you they tested there suspensions on the track but airrex have proven results.

here is a feature Air Society did on the AIRREX mini with there race results.

Here is an MK 6 that we just did thats on AirREX. the fronts were special order 30mm shorter struts with Camber plates. The rear can tuck rim but the wheel offest if to low on this ride.

I will be on air this coming Saturday. I have a question how do you think the O.Z I have now would look. I'm thinking about powder coating them a different color open to suggestions.

Painted my ozs. I started with a thick layer of plasti dip then the paint. this is the color I want to powder coat these.
So I painted them to see if I truly like it before I go off and drop money on the powder coating

I was actually considering doing the exact same with my wheels. PlastiDip and paint on top!

    How is it working out?

Working on a new false floor hoping to get it done by tomorrow. Total PITA! But should be worth it in the end.
