Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and Hong Kong. Miami native Anthony Anderson (@ayo_vossen) has spent nearly the whole month of January hopping from airport to airport as part of the Vossen Wheels World Tour. All that time in the sky might have done more for his appreciation of air than he was letting off because as soon as he landed on US soil, calls were placed to bag his 2012 Infiniti G25.Working as the creative director of Vossen does have perks, namely slipping into a new set of slippers is as easy as taking a stroll to the warehouse out back where boxes of wheels reaching to the ceiling greets you with open arms. The Vossen brand of wheel is renowned in the cast wheel industry because their 5 year guarantee protects buyers in ways other brands won’t. This focus on quality is what allowed Anthony peace of mind when he picked out a set of massive 20×10.5″ VVS-CV4 wrapped in 245/40/20 front and 255/40/20 Nitto tires. The VVS-CV4 is a relatively new wheel in the Vossen concave wheel lineup, and helped pave the way for the new forged monoblock series which debuted in the 2013 calendar year. The wheels were set in place, but now he needed to dig deep and get the G25 kissing concrete. A complete AirREX air-strut setup was picked up and swapped by Slammered Inc, replacing the old stock shocks, but his air ride wouldn’t raise and lower itself. It was time for the management to arrive.Ben Terry from AccuAir had been following Anthony’s travels through Asia and made it a point to make sure the first thing that would be greeting him when he got back would be a brand new I-Level management setup.I-Level marks AccuAir’s first step into the mobile app world and allows customers the unprecedented ability to control the ride height of their car via iPhone; a plus that Anthony definitely needed in order to stay ahead in the game. With the sun now setting on his trip to Asia, and his new Infiniti sitting peacefully on a cushion of air; what’s next for this globetrotter? Anthony has been steadily posting up pictures on his Instagram feed of the new satin white vinyl wrap and Junction Produce curtains he’s picked up, leading me to believe that he’s still got a few more surprises in store for us in the months to come.Big shout-outs go out to Ben at AccuAir, Danny at Slammered Inc., and the folks at Nitto Tires for getting the job done. Keep living the dream Ayo!
