The Slammed Sled

Aaron’s UK Sled has been creeping around for a while  but it took a life of its own when he decided to drop it on air.

The focus on this MK4 Golf Avant was to keep it true to its European roots by supplying it with its fair share of OEM+ gear such as North American bumpers and 18×8.5 and 18×10 BBS RS2’s.  While a North American’s version of OEM+ includes slapping on Euro bumpers and Euro tails, Europeans tend to do just the opposite by putting North American bumpers and tail lights onto their rides.  Talk about doing it backwards 😉

Aaron dropped in a Rayvern Air Suspension kit on top of Avo struts.  The tank, compressor and valves are all hidden in the wheel well ensuring that this bad boy lives up to the European tradition of having a bad ass interior mated up to a bad ass exterior.  Check out this red and black sex bomb:

To get this bad boy to sit how he wanted it, Aaron had to do some serious modification to the stock suspension.  The classic subframe notch was a must, however Polo top plates were swapped in and the 1.9L Turbo Diesel motor was lifted higher up in order to make sure nothing would blow out while he was busy riding low.

His setup rises and falls with analogue switches and Air Gauges in the ash tray make sure his smoke free environment is kept to sub frame dragging only.   Sexy ride Aaron!
