Patrik’s Killer Crosspolo

In the spring of 2010 Patrik was surfing sale sites for a new car. He found a car named Crosspolo.  Having never heard of it before something about it caught his eye.

He therefore did what any prospective car buyer should do: slammed it in Photoshop & cropped on some Schmidt TH-Line. It was love at first P-Chop and a few days later Patrik had a new car with a mountain of potential.

The first thing to buy was the traditional set of coilovers. Then the big question of rims came up. He was looking for Borbet Type A’s but came across a set of sick rims that gave that perfect OEM+ look, FK Automotive – Edition.

Midsummer 2010 Patrik was growing tired of his static lifestyle and after a while got a hot tip about an air suspension kit for sale from a friend’s friend.

The new project was put into motion, Patrik had to hours and hours to get his air suspension setup ready in time to shock everyone at his local car meet up with air!

The night before the meet he mounted the system, it was pure awesomeness!!

Patrik’s dad shook his head when he saw that he put an air kit on a Crosspolo and proceeded to tell him “Epic fail, son”!

Patrik’s ride is anything but fail, this dumped hatch can sit in my driveway any day of the week!

Here’s some more info on Patrik’s air suspension setup:

  • Bags: German Air Ride Systems – System V2
  • Tank: 3 gallon tank
  • Compressor: VIAIR 350C.
