BigDave’s GTI

Here’s a perfect example of how well someone can mod a Mark 4 GTI.

BigDave has been in the game long enough to know that the only way to drive low in the city of Montreal is by rolling on bags.

After watching our fellow American and European Dubbers doin’ it right for years, many Canadians are taking the same route.

Here’s his current setup :

  • Front Universal Air Bag Over Coil, but changing to AirLift XL for summer 2011
  • Firestone AAC Rear Bags
  • 4 Gallon tank painted  Pearl nocturne aubergine
  • Accuair UV4 Manifold
  • Viair Gauges
  • Single Viair 400c compressor
  • AVS 7 Switchbox
  • 42 Draft Design 3 gauge pod over radio

Dave has a couple of other plans for 2011, but right now they are kept on the d-low. Stay tuned to know more about Dave’s bagged GTI.

Thanks to KLM photography for the pics.
